Detox Water Recipe-Hydrate Your Soul
After your spiritual and your physical workouts it is essential to hydrate your body. Water is refreshing and simply bottled water and fruit give you amazing health benefits. This Detox Spa Water is simple to make! Get 2 to 3 lemons and 1/2 of a grapefruit. Slice and squeeze the juice of each fruit into a pitcher and then fill the pitcher with bottled water.
Let sit for 30 minutes and serve. I like my water served really cold with ice cubes and a mint sprig. A pitcher of spa water keeps for 24 hours in your refrigerator. Lemons and grapefruit are great for vitamin C intake and help flush out toxins in your body and skin! Keep your body, mind, and spirit detoxed with the help of this super easy, delicious, and healthy water drink. All my kids are a huge fan and I think yours will be too! We have ours everyday with lunch.
Detox Spa Water
2 or 3 lemons (sliced)
1/2 grapefruit (sliced), optional
1/2 cup sugar (or any sweetener), optional
1 cup of hot water
10 cups of cold bottled water
Cut citrus fruit's into halves. (Save the other halves for additional flavor). Squeeze fruit with juicer into a standard size pitcher until all pieces of fruit have been juiced all the way. If using sugar, measure 1/2 cup of sugar and add 1 cup of hot water in a separate bowl. Stir until clear. Pour sugar water into the pitcher with the fruit juice. Add 10 cups of cold water to the pitcher or until the pitcher is almost full. Stir and taste. (If not sweet enough, add 1/4 more sugar to liking). Pour into cups of ice and serve with additional citrus and mint leaves.
